An Honorary Degree or a degree honoris causa (Latin:"for the sake of the honour") is an academic degree for which a university (or other degree-awarding institution) has waived the usual requirements, such as matriculation, residence, study and the passing of examinations. The degree is typically a doctorate degree, and may be awarded to someone who has no prior connection with the academic institution.  

Note: The "Honorary Doctorate Degrees" is not awarded to non-Christians;
           The "Honorary Doctorate Degrees" is not awarded to Homosexuals;
           The "Honorary Doctorate Degrees" is not awarded to those rejecting Authority of God's Word;

  • (Honorary) Doctor of Theology (D.Th.) / Fees: $220.00    
  • (Honorary) Doctor of Ministry (D.Min.) / Fees: $220.00
  • (Honorary) Doctor of Divinity (D.D.) or (D.Div.) / Fees: $220.00

About The Honorary Doctor of Philosophy Degree [in Bible Theology] (Ph.D)

MOMBI welcomes the opportunity to receive Recommendations and Nominations of persons in the ministry who deserve the Special Recognition and Honor of receiving the Honorary Doctor of Philosophy Degree. However each applicant must meet the criteria established by the MOMBI Board of Trustees which will also be based upon their evaluation of information provided about the candidates.

Requirements for the:
Honorary Doctor of Philosophy Degrees (Ph.D)

 1. Autobiographical Statement (300 words) – and reasons for desiring the Ph.D. along with your photo.
 2. Prepare a 4-5 page Thesis [read more about Submitting Your Thesis Or Dissertation On Line]
3. Pay the one-time only fee of $300.00 after submitting the application. The cost covered the degree only.

Once the above steps are all met, we will send you your beautiful bonafide honorary degree -- with raised seal, official logo, signed in person, not by a computer. It is very suitable for framing, We send them directly to you.

The Honorary Doctor of Philosophy Degrees earned at MOMBI are religious degrees, not academic; not to be confused with a Ph.D. in Physics, English, Chemistry or some other academic field. Collecting written work from you is one of several factors making the religious Degree legal and legitimate, as opposed to being merely honorary.  Our degrees are bonafide legitimate religious Doctorate Degrees because we are a recognized organization that exists not just on the Internet, but in the brick and mortar realm.

Other Honorary Doctorate Degrees
  • D.Div. (or in Europe, D.D.) = Doctor of Divinity
  • D.Th. = Doctor of Theology
  • D.Min = Doctor of Ministry

If these requirements of the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) are too much for your schedule, you might wish to receive the theological equivalent of the Ph.D., the Doctor of Theology --D.Th. Or you may wish to pursue a Doctor of Divinity or Doctor of Ministry degree from MOMBI. These are time honored religious doctoral degrees which take less time and have lower tuition fees, but still allow you to attach Dr. to your name and letters after your name (post-nominal letters).

1. A Biography, along with a photo should be sent to MOMBI via the "Student account" page for processing.
2. Pay the one-time only fee of $220.00 after submitting the application. The cost covered the degree only. For shipping and handling proceed to the checkout page.
