Anyone may register in courses offered by MOMBI for Learning. Students who are enrolled at other (Bible) colleges, Seminaries or universities may enroll as a "New Student." and anyone who wishes to take a course for personal, professional or spiritual enrichment. Students taking courses from MOMBI need an understanding of operating system software and computer hardware and peripherals in order to successfully utilize available resources for research and study.


Personal Enrichment Student (PES)

There are good reasons to take Bible courses even if you are not pursuing a degree.

  • Deepen your relationship with Jesus.
  • Solidify your faith with solid Biblical grounding.
  • Equip yourself to serve in a particular area of your local church.
  • Sharpen ministry skills.
  • Study a topic of interest.

Becoming a personal enrichment student (PES) is a simple process. There are just a few things of which you’ll want to be aware:

First, Taking courses for credit requires that you do all the assigned work and receive a grade for the course. A personal enrichment student (PES) course is considered a regular participant in the program, except that there is no requirement to turn in written assignments or take Institutional Challenge Exam (ICE).

NOTE: ENGLISH PROFICIENCY. MOMBI does not offer an English language program, and requires all students to have a certain level of English proficiency as a requirement for graduate and mission.


Admission Requirements

  • A completed Online Application form.
  • One copy of a recent photograph (passport size) in addition to the one affixed to the student profile page.
  •  Acceptable forms of identification: e.g., Valid National ID, Driver's License, or International Passport. A personal ID Card may be consider.
  • Completed Thesis or Dissertation, if applicable (Thesis or Dissertation can be submitted After you have been admitted into the program, within 30 days therein.) see deferral.
  • Autobiographical Statement (300 words), if applicable
  • An official transcript of the course/s completed, if applicable

NOTES 

* MOMBI will not consider an application for admission until the institute has received the above informations.
* Document which are defaced or which appear to be altered in any way WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.
* All submitted documents become the property of MOMBI and will not be returned or transferred to a third party.
 * The MOMBI reserves the right to reject an application for admission, withdraw an offer and/or prohibit registration if the offer for admission is found to be based in whole or in part on deception or fraud.

Apart from the admission requirements stated above, no additional documents or requirements needed to become a MOMBI Student.


TRANSFERRING CREDITS TO MOMBI.

Mt. Olives Ministerial Bible Institute will accept credits toward a MOMBI degree from the following sources:
Official transcripts from other educational institutions including church-centered Bible schools and schools of ministry, community colleges, technical schools, colleges, universities, and seminaries will be evaluated. Courses with “A” and “B” grades will be accepted when they maintain a course content that is complementary to the degree being sought at MOMBI. Credits transferred are limited to half of the credits required for the MOMBI degree. When seeking to transfer credits, begin by completing the Application Form and meet all financial obligations to MOMBI. You may then have official transcripts sent to MOMBI for evaluation and transfer to a MOMBI transcript. Transfer of credits to a MOMBI transcript will cost NOTHING irrespective of the number of credits being transferred.

CONFIDENTIALITY OF STUDENT RECORDS MOMBI realizes and understands the confidential nature of student records. Student records will not be released to a third party without the student’s written permission. At MOMBI we respect and honor your right to privacy and exercise extreme care in keeping your records confidential.

INSTITUTION CHALLENGE EXAM The Institutional Challenge Exam (ICE) is intended to test the student's mastery of a number of related fields as well as, the student's ability to synthesize, integrate, generalize, and expand upon all knowledge gained prior to the examination. Students should expect that material included in this examination will go beyond the subject matter covered in any individual course. The courses and exams can be read and completed side-by-side. The majority of the exams are objective test questions.

Policy after Successful Completion of the Institutional Challenge Exam (ICE): Transcripts will be issued to a student who based on successfully completing the Institutional Challenge Exam (ICE).

Exam Description / Format ( It is all writing based) At MOMBI. We lay a Strong emphasis on writing, rather than questions and answers Examination (which is what many students are looking for). Your grades are earned entirely from writing a review on a selected courses module after a lot of reading, thinking, explaining, and writing. Many of the writing are word for word from the coursework. Student get more out of writing rather than questions and answers.

Note: You MUST pass the Institutional Challenge Exam (ICE) from MOMBI to receive credit.

The grade of each test is given to the student via the student account page. MOMBI issues grades on a 4.00 system. To successfully graduate from the degree program and to have your degree and a transcript mailed to you, you must complete all the required test per course and you must accumulate the specified number of credits as well as meet the requirements outlined by the program. Students must achieve a Quality Point Average of 2.00 or better in order to graduate from any of our program.

F 0.0 grade points


GRADING SCALE
A = 90-100
B = 80-89
C = 70-79
D = 60-69
F = 59 and below

A student must have a 2.00 average or higher to graduate at the Undergraduate level and 3.00 (B) or higher to graduate at the Graduate level.

Once you have completed all of the requirements, you will receive a Certificate or Degree in your major concentration.
